Twelve-year-old Aiden Thompson lost his mother to cancer and struggles with keeping his grades up and holding onto hope. While his dad is conflicted between work and loss, he sends Aiden to Cape Cod to stay with Uncle Willy for the summer. There, Aiden meets a homeless boy nicknamed The Dock Boy, and an unlikely friendship blossoms, forming a newfound family that brings them both hope and healing.  Estimated date of completion: Late Fall 2026
