Mining the Truth

Join me on a journey of mining the truth. A story based on truth touches our hearts. But what holds us back from mining the truth?

FEAR.

The acronym for fear is false evidence appearing real. Fear makes us hide. It tells us we’re not good enough, and keeps us from telling our stories. The moment we give in to fear, we lose our power, we lose sight of our purpose, we lose our reason why.

Why Write your Truth, your Story?

Maybe it’s to make the world a better place through our experiences? Shared experiences bring unity, compassion, and personal growth. Or maybe it’s just to make an emotional, human connection with someone. There’s that one person, or child, who needs to hear your story, your message of who you are and your why. Be brave. Dig deep. What battles have you been through and won? What fires have you walked through? My goal on this writing journey is not to always write what’s easy.

My Cry for Help

On the morning of May 28th, 2018, I looked up at the sky after a night of way too many glasses of wine (again) and asked God for help. I asked Him to remove the pain, and He did. It hasn’t been an easy road, but life is so much better today. My health, my relationships, and my work life are all so much better than I could have ever imagined. I’m truly grateful for everything I have.

My Message

To write from the heart, we must heal our hearts, and sometimes our minds, and bodies, too. We have to be constantly honest with ourselves to write stories that ring of honesty. My hope is that the story I’ve shared will help someone. If you have a story to share that changed your life, I’d like to hear about it. Truth does set you free.

Thank you for being a loyal subscriber and for listening,

Kate

I love that definition of fear! So true - most of it is imagined and holds us back. Thanks for overcoming your fear and sharing!

Mary, thank you! It took a lot of courage. My first step in writing what's hard.
